The Final Farewell

As we battle our Monday blues let us take a moment to appreciate the amazing 20 years Yellowcard have given us.

We had our first encounter with the band back in 2004 when We heard their song ‘way away’ on the SSX3 soundtrack.
The American Rock band originally formed in 1997 and is well known for its singles “Ocean Avenue”, “Only One”, and “Lights and Sounds”. The group’s music is stands out in its genre due to the prominent use of a violin. The band has released ten studio albums, with its most recent and final one released on September 30, 2016.

Yellowcard card is certainly set to go out with a bang!

Their self titled final album most definitely gives the fans the closure we all desperately desire. The band leaves no stone unturned, detailing to the fans everything they wanted to say. As the saying goes when words fail music speaks. The final album is certainly a record that speaks for itself.
It not only has songs reminiscent of the bands previous albums but aims to push musical boundaries, offering the fans a fresh sound that will a lasting impact for years to come.
Saying goodbye in a somewhat poetic manner the album marks the end of an era.
The band will finish the last leg of its final tour in March 2017.
All good things must come to an end and with that let us take the opportunity to say thank you for the music.
